DEVELOPMENT OF PROTOCOLS FOR THE CULTIVATION OF WORMWOOD (ARTEMISIA SALSOLOIDES)

As part of the work, the key factors influencing the growth and development ofArtemisia salsoloidesculture have been studied, and nutrient media have been developed and optimized for plant conservation. The optimal medium for the cultivation ofA. salsoloidesis MS + 2 mg/L MT. Viable suspensions were obtained. The MS nutrient medium and the BM1k nutrient medium developed by us are suitable for wormwood callusogenesis. The growth curves of cell suspensions have a standard S-shaped curve. In theA. salsoloidesplants we studied, key genes for the synthesis of artemisinin-like compounds (ADS, CYP71AV1, DBR2) were found, except for the CPR gene.
