Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Malus × robusta (apple; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Rosales; Rosaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 620.81 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.83%) is scaffolded into 17 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 385.87 kilobases and 160.23 kilobases, respectively.
