Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Galium aparine (Cleavers; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Gentianales; Rubiaceae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 857.56 megabases and 853.30 megabases, respectively. Most of haplotype 1 (99.54%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 is a scaffold-level assembly. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 206.24 kilobases and 152.61 kilobases, respectively.
