The IFAE program has made a meaningful difference in the lives of adult learners and the communities in which they live. Its impact goes beyond helping people learn how to read and write, it has opened space for individuals to take part. For example it encouraged the learners to take active role in community forums, where they share ideas and contribute to local issues discussion. It helped to involve in sustainable development activities and it assisted to gain a clear understanding of the learners civil rights and responsibilities by using civic education topics in the curriculum. Moreover, as learners gain literacy skills, they also build confidence to share their thoughts, take part in discussions, and contribute to decisions that shape their daily lives. This outcome reflects a widely recognized view that adult education supports not only learning but also empowerment and inclusion. The study therefore concluded, that the IFAE program shows that education can serve as a strong pathway to empowerment when it is inclusive, practical, and closely connected to community daily life. It helps adult learners move from limited participation to active involvement in shaping their own futures. By building skills, confidence, and social networks, the program contributed not only to individual growth but also to stronger and more resilient communities. In this way, it stands as a clear example of how adult education can support both personal development and broader social progress. Thus it is recommend that, in communities where Literacy, social cohesion and limited participation are still a problem, introduction of IFAE will significantly contribute.
